SUMMER SPECIAL

Gas prices are going up every day. Many of us have changed our plans for a trip this summer because of the prices. Here's an idea if you need to stay local.

Why not spend the summer doing some things  in your own state? Have your student take pictures at various places you go and put them in a scrapbook. It can be a part of your schooling AND a great keepsake!

From now until June 30th:   The States package, which includes both the "50 States Unit Study Notebook" and "My State Scrapbook", is only $4.99 --a savings of $4.00 (a gallon of gas?!).

Another idea for the state scrapbook: Let your student choose a special stuffed animal or other "creature" and take pictures of this creature in all the places you visit. Your student will learn how to take pictures and maybe it will evoke a little more enthusiasm into your "visiting the state" plan!
